Spring Classes 2011 Classes at the Family History Center located at 156 1/2 S. 6th Ave. Theses classes are free to the public. Classes are on Tuesday from 7 - 8 p.m. unless otherwise noted. May May 3rd Beginning Research - With emphasis on pedigree charts, research logs, birth, marriage, death and census records. Taught by Julie Nestor
May 10th Beginning Internet Research - With emphasis on free sites. Taught by Barbara Binz
May 17th New Procedure "Online Microfilm & Microfiche Ordering"
May 24th Immigration, Emigration and Related Records - Taught by Jason Mendenhall
May 31th Advanced Research - with emphasis on seldom used records, such as chancery, wills, etc Taught by Myrna Crapo
Accreditation Mentoring Series (Professional Genealogist) May 14th 2011 Date May 14th 2011 Location: Pocatello Family History Center Time 8am to 6pm Details We will have Apryl Call from the Salt Lake City area come to the Pocatello Center on Saturday, May 14, to present the information for Certified Genealogists. The classes will start at 8 am and finish about 6pm. It will be a long day, but all the classes will be presented on that day. If we were going to Salt Lake, It would be one class a month for most of the year. but the attendees will need to purchase copies of the class materials. Apryl will also stay after the classes to answer questions and help. Please share this information so we can get an idea of the number who are interested.
